About Me

AMYJROBINSON | 愛美 is an autistic travel and documentary photographer, writer and producer based in North East England.

Their work is informed by a desire to connect with people and places, often reflected in their documentary approach to photography and through words. 

In addition to being an avid collector of random and miscellaneous hobbies, Amy has written for film, magazines, and the tourism industry. They have exhibited at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography and Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum & Arts Centre. They have worked with Visit Faroe Islands, The Young Women's Film Academy, Hidden Iceland, and Belmond.

As a disabled person of mixed-heritage, they have a specific passion for delivering creative workshops and community events focusing on queerness, intersectionality, activism and belonging.
