Queer Event Photography in Newcastle and the North East
As a queer, disabled person of mixed heritage, I bring lived experience and awareness to the way I document fundraisers and LGBTQ+ events. Who I am, and who I identify as helps while photographing more sensitive and community-led events, prioritising the comfort and safety of attendees and participants.
My documentary style means I capture stories as they unfold naturally, the moments of connection and joy, and the genuine atmosphere without staging or interference. I produce images that reflect the communities creating them, whether photographing grassroots gatherings, community-led celebrations, or large-scale cultural events.
